Stardate 30th January 2009-01-30
Inspection day, I woke up at 4am.I had really planned for the inspection; in my own mind I had ticked all the boxes. Following the instructions id been given, weirdly I was ready, nervous but ready. I still wasn’t sure which session they planned to attend. I had to be ready for both. The inspectors funnily arrived just after 11, learners were returning from break so it wasn’t too bad. They had missed my neatly choreographed demonstration, and I was onto the work shopping part of the lesson, and weirdly busy with the general day to day stuff I do. I dint have too much time to worry about what the inspectors were actually doing, and my class were being well behaved. The next time I turned around they had gone. Hmm I thought see what happens in the after inspection yelling at. I honestly expected them to be stricter than ofsted in this test inspection in a scare us into shape manner but they were surprisingly positive about the session. They were impressed with the differentiation and the amount of active learning taking place.
